Samim Multaheb, PhD (ABD)
Hi, I am Samim, an entrepreneur and Machine Learning researcher, focused on making AI reliable, and useful for the real world. My passion lies at the intersection of deep technology and practical applications. As the co-founder at machinemade, I am building an AI tool that helps business teams communicate their requirements to tech teams. In my PhD research, I explore how to make neural networks more robust and interpretable, particularly for critical industrial systems. This journey has led me to incredible opportunities, including research at Stanford University and SRI PARC (formerly Xerox' PARC). While at Stanford, I also had the privilege of serving as a Teaching Assistant for Steve Blank's iconic "Lean Launchpad" class, where I was allowed to help a new generation of entrepreneurs.Beyond my technical work, I believe in using technology and organizational skills for social good. During the pandemic, I co-founded naturefit, a non-profit that has mobilized over 50 volunteers to help social organizations become more sustainable, and directly impacted more than 4000 people.Whether I'm designing a neural network, building a new app, or mentoring young scientists and founders, I'm driven by the challenge of bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and tangible, human-centered solutions.I'm always open to discussing technology, startups, or potential collaborations.
