Samim Multaheb, PhD (ABD)
I'm a Machine Learning researcher and entrepreneur focused on a single mission: making AI safe, reliable, and useful for the real world. My passion lies at the intersection of deep technology and practical applications. As the co-founder and Chief Scientist at machinemade, I lead our R&D studio in building custom AI solutions that help businesses solve concrete problems. Concurrently, my PhD research explores how to make neural networks more interpretable and robust, particularly for critical industrial systems. This journey has led me to incredible opportunities, including research as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University and SRI PARC (formerly Xerox' PARC). While at Stanford, I also had the privilege of serving as a Teaching Assistant for Steve Blank's iconic "Lean Launchpad" class, where I coached a new generation of entrepreneurs.Beyond my technical work, I believe in using technology and organizational skills for social good. During the pandemic, I co-founded naturefit, a non-profit that has mobilized over 50 volunteers to help social organizations become more sustainable, and impacted more than 4000 people.Whether I'm designing a neural network, building a company, or mentoring a team, I'm driven by the challenge of bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and tangible, human-centered solutions.Let's connect! I'm always open to discussing technology, startups, or potential collaborations.
